The phrase "super team" has been thrown around the National Basketball Association a lot in recent years, but never more than in the last few days following the Warriors' second National Basketball Association title in three years - their first since adding former league MVP Kevin Durant.

So what'd you expect LeBron to do after coming up short against the Golden State Warriors in the 2017 NBA Finals?
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Stephen Curry will likely go from being the NBA's biggest bargain to signing the richest contract in the league at more than $200 million.
The NBA season is finally over and the Golden State Warriors are the champions for the 2016/2017 season.
"It would mean everything".
"We don't need or want to be talked about", Danny Green once said. It's about us supporting this championship. It is a business.
"I think we handle [the situation] when it gets there".
"Just the camaraderie, the togetherness of the whole organization, that's what it was about".
Most believe it was the addition of All-Star forward Kevin Durant that put the Warriors over the top to claim their second title in three years.
This was Durant's second Finals appearance.
Durant came back late in the regular season from a 19-game absence with a left knee injury, then dealt with a tender calf early in the playoffs. "I kept building on that from day one", Durant said. It's easier said than done, obviously, but that's the goal. "We want to keep this thing together and see how we can continue to keep getting better". As is customary for any championship winning team, a visit to be congratulated by the President of the United States is next up for the Splash Brothers,Kevin Durant and co.
Curry said there had been "side conversations" before winning the championship but a team decision has yet to be made. That's not going to happen. "And we are going to move forward with that when we have a chance to".
"I agree with that description if you remove the "et" from asset", he famously told San Jose newspaper, The Mercury News. "But we'll see what happens when that time comes". Warriors Coach Steve Kerr missed several games this year with back issues.
"I couldn't sleep for two days", Durant said. Nothing should distract from what we were able to accomplish together, the different kind of ceremonies and the tradition.
