A MI mother has lost primary custody of her child after she was jailed for five days for not following through on an agreement to vaccinate her 9-year-old son.
Oakland County Circuit Judge Karen McDonald disagreed with Bredow, stating that she wasn't the only parent with a say in her son's care.
James Horne, the child's dad, had the shots administered on Monday, when he had custody.

"She's devastated", Vitale said of Bredow.
"If my child was forced to be vaccinated, I couldn't bring myself to do it", she said. "I was trying to stand up for what I believed in, and it was worth it for me to try and take the risk, because I was trying to stop the vaccinations from happening".

Rebecca Bredow was released from jail on Wednesday after serving six days for failing to get her son vaccinated and was outraged her son received the jabs while she was behind bars.
