The Hammers' weekend match victor Marko Arnautovic put in his best performance in a West Ham shirt on Saturday, and fans will be hopeful that the Austrian worldwide can push on to bigger and better things. West Ham are not of trouble just yet, though, and a quick glance at the league table - the Hammers remain in the bottom three - should be enough to refocus minds ahead of the visit of Arsenal in midweek.
The London club is now in the drop zone, but a 1-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday helped to ease the mood among fans and players.
"So at this moment in time Adrian did well at Manchester City and again on Saturday, so I am sure Joe will give him all the respect from that position". Joe's a real good guy. I do like winning local derbies. He's good in the dressing room and the big thing is his level of experience. I wanted to hit them on the break but then he ran out of steam.
Hart, who is hoping to represent England at the World Cup next year, was replaced by Adrian in goal for West Ham's game against Manchester City last weekend as he was not eligible for the game as he is still under contract at City.
Meanwhile, Moyes says he has been delighted by the squad's work ethic since taking over as manager from Slaven Bilic at the start of November.
"Every day we have to work hard under this coach and there are no excuses", said Arnautovic.
"It's more important that with him coming back from injury, we don't overdo it and he gets injured".
"It's less and less likely players accept the hairdryer (treatment) now. I need to win as well".
"And if they hadn't I'd soon let them know".
