While Airtel, the largest telecom company by subscriber base has an prepaid recharge offer for Rs 349 and Rs 549 which offer more than 1GB of high speed data per day, Reliance Jio has a prepaid recharge priced at Rs 299, which offers 2GB of data per day. Jio aims to bring "2018 will bring unprecedented value to all Jio customers" and on account of that, the telco has now revised all its prepaid plans that currently offer 1GB data per day.
Now with this latest offers, Rs 199, Rs 399, Rs 459 and Rs 499 plans will cost Rs 50 less. Jio's Rs 149 recharge offer gives clients an aggregate of 28GB 4G app for 28 days, which is one of the least expensive in the business. Under the plan, Jio will offer 84GB of data for 84 days. The sources have also stated that the company is going to enhance the the data of the users of Rs 399 package, up to 20 percent, it will also increase its validity by 2 weeks. Under the plan, customers will get 28GB data with 28 days validity. The same service will now - after the plans get updated - post-Jan 9 - be available at Rs 50 cheaper price of Rs 449. The plans further offer 1GB 3G/4G data and 100 SMS per day. Moreover, the company has also chose to increase the usual data of 1GB to 1.5GB, which is surely going to appeal to many people for whom the data limit is not enough and who like to use it for downloading purposes. The plan also gives free and unlimited SMS benefits, said Jio website.
-Rs 498: Under this plan, Jio now offers 91GB of data for 91 days with a daily data limit of 1GB. The Rs. 509 plan which was previously valid for 84 days will now come with a validity of 91 days. For starters, Airtel Rs 399 plan now offers 70GB data with a validity of 70 days.
Apart from the change in the data part, other benefits will remain the same.
